My first fiction: Its about how Aryan tribe formed
The Tribe
Long long ago, in the far far east to
our civilization, there happen to be a land ; a land covered by great
mountains on all three side and water on the rare side, a land where
wandering men and women rod wild horses, hunted and domesticated
animals for fur and meat , collected wild berries. Centuries passed
families developed into small tribes, which started to occupy traversal stretch of grass land. As time passed small tribes
developed into communities, each connected with various form of
relations both blood and non blood. As differentiation increased specialties developed, marked by there geography and harshness of
land. Over time as tribes expanded in numbers, new resource became
crucial. New way of generating food, protecting large population from
cold and other harshness started to haunt people. With the generation
of narrative knowledge, tribal elders came to conclusion of herding
the still domesticated animals, leaving behind the culture of hunting
and gathering of berries.
Years passed without constrains and
population grew putting more pressure on the existing grass land,
elders deviced expanding mission by sending out people across their
know boundaries. To achieve the objective of forward expansion
instrument of travelling was to revolutionised, elders looked
towards grassland beast; horse. Horse were domesticated and herded.
These became part of tribe ,as one of there own. Every time when
expansion mission was sent new territory- grassland- was added. This
led to streching of area to a vast and varied (little) geography.
Vastness brought dis connectivity, which brought distinctiveness among
people. Differentiation beame the obvious result. However this brought
great strength to land( some were good at maintaing grassland, some
at herding, some at herds controlling, some at predicting rain and
thunderstorm) until strain on resources started again. This was
confronted with the new discovery that land has been covered by
mountains on three direction and sea on remaining direction. Elders
of that time tried in futile to dig in the history(orally
transmitted) to find solution. Society which now had developed social
relation was on brink of collapse. Differenciantion that had brought
protectors, wheelers, riders which was boon became bane. Tribal
confict erupted, social relation brought differntial unification in
the once flurishing society. Conflict turned into wars, death became
friendly neighbour. Land was devastated in decades. Elders professed
of return of lost man of their own kind who one day will bring lost
message which will unite and draw the society out of the current
crisis.
After years of search society found The
Man with the Lost Message, the message he said came from sky. The
message he said “is eternal truth and unalienable”. The Man
message spread like grassland fire. Men tested The Man through their
tradition and came to conclusion that he is one their own kind, who
might be decedent of one of the numerous mission that were lost
during the expansion age. The Man emphasised on the Lost Message and
asked people to work for lost message rather than for him. Men from
all around the vast land met and discussed with him. The Man with his
charm influenced every one of them; some diagreed and some agreed.
Convinced men rallied behind him. He travelled all across the known
land learning things from various group and teaching new thing that
he had learnt from The Lost Message. He was able to consolidate the
social structure of the land into one. He gave new names to events,
worships, and for processes, making communication shorter,
understandable and brought some uniformity. He built up relationss
with skilled mind of various tribes and brought them on unified
platform. This platform became body where elders were able to
discuss and solve some of the problem that society faced. On the
suggestion of The Man, elders set mission to unify the land and bring
under a single command . Unification was marked by agreement,
voluntary submission, conditional submission and other methods which
were unknown to society but was brought by The Man, which he said was
the part of Lost Message. Other splinter groups who were treat were
assimilated by war ,some time by assasination of leader, some time by
corruting officials of chief of tribe, which ever method was deemed
correct.
With the years of efforts by elders and
politicking mind of The Man, finally land got united. Unity brought
centrality, i became we . Uniformity became norms, diversity became
devient. The Man defended this form of society for the greater good
of larger people. He brought concept of sacrific for greater good and
glorified it. People saw no harm in endorsing his idea as other
solution were not giving stability. Stability has returned after much
suffering and sacrifice-as The Man conceptualised it. Forces set by
the new idea culminated into a tribal state, with central authority
and an army. The state ;headed by council of elders:Deus,Dig,Das
,ruled fast land . Unified under the common command. As time was
running out council of elders decided to address historically
unsolved issue and directed to open the historical problem (as there
was any script that time tribe had specialsed group of people who
were tasked with memorising the important event and passing on to
next generation in the form of stories-).
Deus being nominal head invited The Man
for sharing his views and unearting the solution from The Lost
Message. However tribal tradition allowed only son of the land to
take such work. Moreover section of grand tribal society were
decenting importance given to newcomer. To solve the stand of Deus
decided to use the mole present in the tradition which allowed
adoption of the son and no rule was made on adoted son rights. Deus
adopted The Man as his son in a tribal ceremony, with the name Manus
The son Of Deus.
Manus now as an entrusted man, had huge
resposibility of finding way to non-availability of land. Deus once
told him that whole stability of the unified people lies on the
solution.Deus was guide and teacher for Manus with whom he used to
share his ideas. Deus used have conversation in question and answer
(as he deemed its the write method)format on various issues however
restrained himself many times from asking Manus about The Lost
Message. Deus always believed in Manus's in concept of going beyond
the horizon and believed that this aspect has brought Manus to this
land. He felt the land is secure and this great people ,will be the
force of manus ,who will eventually find the solution. It took some
time for Manus to adjust with new job whose rule were verbal
deposited. Deus assigned Dig who being women was good in
organisational skill and was key in bringing centrality , to assist
Manus, Manus took it as sign and decided to organise an event to
bring specialised people to work under Deus. This was to be fare were
people would discuss things, would show talents, fighting skills, new
herbal plants, fire controlling technique,food yelding techniqe,
weapons,etc. This was open invitation to all corner of the land ,
which was being organised for the first time. Various groups and
elders decided to meet on vast flat land just outside the place where
council of elders was housed. Hundreds of families put there tent in
that land which was cut by small streams. Various events went on from
women warrior fighting men warriors to display of new animal captured
in the land. People stayed there for weeks, which provided Dig and
Manus to mark the skilled men and women and the skills itself, that
could be needed to find the solution. During fare a pattern emerged
which copied the recent events i.e now the place itself had council
to over see the fair, basic necesity of food,shelter and water was
taken care off. Residence were now in organised condition. Small
protection force also protected the recidence. Miniaturised state was
built and people started to call its Atsana. Dig saw a new system
emerging which had division of labor, consists of various groups who
were specialised in there own work but exchanged their labors
mutually. Dig conceptualised first cosmopolitan city, born out of
idea of Manus.
With coming of Manus in picture things
have evolved: war were stopped, people got united, peace and
stability returned, new big city by name “Atsana” was founded.
People started to believe that time indeed is ripe to materialised
the message in The Lost Message. Manus and Dig sensed the mood, with
the permission of Deus, Das who was protector and warrior head of
the council of elder was sent to spread the message of an invitation;
an invitation as the first message of “The Lost Message”. Das, a
self made man , a sceptic by nature hated phenomenon of blind
following of leaders. Many a time he had opposed the pre destination
which was engulping the society but this time allowed him self to not
to oppose Manus worship(as he believed). Das trusted situation for
the solution rather thann the pre destination. Being believer of self
consciousness, he did discuss Manus phenomenon with Deus. Who in turn
assure and asked Das to have faith in the young man.
It took some time for forces of Das to
spread the message of Manus to choosen one (Some identified by Manus
and Dig ) and in general to warriors(other came as voluteers.).
Within weeks People pored into new established city of Atsana. Land
to wards east of the city was given to the unorganised warriors and
other skilled people. Manus was in between the crowd unable to
organise . People although respected him but question of next haunted
people. Seeing lack of Manus experience Dig and Das stepped in. It
was new for them too, however there own experience of how Tsana was
formed gave them the future path. Within hours of discussion , both
came to conclusion of diffenciating, segregating and organising on
the based of the common thing for this purpose. Question was to find
the purpose; Manus was showing his inexperience which both realised
and sought Deus intervention(hence went to house that housed council
of elders).
In council of elders, Deus was having
discussion with Vesu, the man who was instrumental in organising the
Tsana city. Vesu being a merchant and retailer, was always know for
his grouping skills which matched with changing situation and
requirement. When Dig and Das entered council hall, humble vesu
sought permission to suspend his discussion and went out, so that
three heads can discuss the issue. Dig and Das explained the
situation that is unfolding just east of the city. All three had seen
situation like this before but this was lot different : had huge
number -numbering in thousands, all type from warrior(the organised
one) to alchemist were present, all level of boldness was present. It
was becoming a recipe of spontenious revolt if not controlled and
organised. What came out of discussion was need to organise the large
crowd . Deus was able to see(Council house was on high ground over
looking new city and crowd ) for himself, the growing need for
cosmopolitan crowd control and people who can do so. Presence of Vesu
made sense to Deus. After consulting Dig and Das, Vesu was asked to
enter the discussion in the council hall. Vesu has sensed the help
that council needed, which became clear during course of discussion.
Deus was still testing the water, vesu got proposal from Dig
regarding reorganising of the crowd. Though it wasn't unanimous
suggestion, Deus and Das conformed to Dig's proposal. What moved them
was Veus clarity and humbleness in analysing the proposal. Vesu had
organisational questions before jumping to accept their proposal.
Vesu questions:
What is aim and objective of the
organisation?
Who will be head of this and what kind
of authority he/she have?
What part council and Manus play with
respect to this organisation?
What are criteria of differnciation
within organisation?
Maintenance of the same?
How organisation must proceed during
choitic situation?
What will be relation of individual and
organisation?
The question of Vesu cleared the smoke
about vesu's outlook and were supporting plates for the proposal
which the Deus and Das still had doubt. As problem was spontenous and
unwarranted council wasn't prepared for the answers, however rule of
sue moto readdressal was invoked(which was being followed when answer
where to be sought from the questioner itself). Vesu after getting
convinced that council had no answer, went a head with his proposal
with all humbleness. Vesu made it clear that he himself dont have
answer for much of the question but sought apply “ought to see when
deemed necessary” principle, accordingly he would answer as on
when situation arrive or situation get cleared. Council accepted his
proposal and gave permission to take stock of the situation, however
placed him under Manus and advised him to support Manus's effort.
Vesu, after approval met Manus along with Dig among the what was to
called by crowd as “Loya Gira” a grand council. Dig was more
that happy to see two humble person working on the situation which
even council can't think of. Dig saw it has first step towards
division of power and share of responsibility. Two men had a long
discussion, exchanged alot of information. Dig being well connected
with centrality of society, was well fed with information of skills,
technology, instrument and people connected with these things. Dig
became repository to unearthen information which Manus and Vesu
thought necessary for organising. After much of deliberation Manus
and Vesu, now onwards the Dwi, came to conclusion that crowd would be
divided based on skills rather than region, from which they belong.
From the data ,which Dig has collected during previous fare, The Dwi
decided to have each skilled group under certain men/ women (who are
to be highly skilled in the same job).
It was time to convey the decision and
make way for first line of organisational heads. Dig was lack of
grandness of conveying decision which Dwi have left, hence he ordered
a small platform to be made on the high ground facing crowd which
council guards were quick to accomplish.Dig and Manus were not
unknown to crowd but Vesu was, before Dig could start with
introduction of Vesu, Vesu himself came oout with introduction as the
head of the organisation which was going to be announced and he is
working with the approval of council. Vesu took this opportunity to
welcome all and thanking those who dreamt this. Vesu allowed Manus to
begin with the core announcement which would define the aim,
objective and criteria of organistion. Manus announced that an
organsiation will be set up with the aim in line with aim of The Lost
Message; ie to find solution for moving beyond this land, maintaining
present order and peace of the land. He spelt that people will be
segregated based on there skills and skill will be used for achiving
the aims, giving prority to finding new land beyond mountains and
sea. And he also added that these grouping will be called “Ganas”
and will be lead by people appointed by them, who deemed fit and well
scrutinised by them. Manus than allowed Vesu to announce Ganas and
those who will be contacting council on behalf of them(as one amongs
equal and leader). Vesu announced that he will spell out who will be
representing organisation and categories of work under organisation
and then(one by one).
Categories of Dwi were:
“Varuna”: Intelligence, law and
order
.(Humbal, ethically uncorruptable ,was
from fastest hordes of the north. Was part of Das messaing network,
was brillent in identifying and training various animals to get
things done , mapper and one who knows nature well:::: as described
by Vesu to people )
“Agni” : Grassland care taker, wild
fire preventer.
“Mitra” : would help Agni(Mitra was
one of the son of Surya a tribal head: the far eastern tribe from
colder area of land)
(Agni would be responsible for taking
measure that would help in preventing fire in grassland there by
giving more grass. He would also be responsible for preventing desert
lands from spreading. Head of a group from easter land)
“Soma” : curing men/women. Also
help Agni in picking useful herbs and protecting herbs with the help
of Tvastra who was expert in herbs.
(basically soma was from tribal medic.)
“Yama” : sanitization which would
include burying dead both human and aNimal: Yama was a tribe whose
people were called and were part of society for burying dead and
these were from south.
After all these anouncement there came
final announcement which vesu left it for Dig. Dig announced that the
organisation which she will annoounce will be fighting force, most of
people will be part of it. It will be having more than one person
over it. Primary objective is to explore the land beyond and this
group will get every coordination from other groups. Main leaders she
said will be
“Indra” : A most feared warrior,
well know for fighting in all condition and expert in storming the
defence during unwell condition such as snow storm, rain,
thunderstorm etc. People thought that nothing could stop this young
warrior.
“Pusan” : another son of Surya.
Will be supporting Indra. Will be responsible for establishment of
paths and taking inputs from Varuna. He was head of tribe which
herded only along the roads hence were called as protector of roads
by merachants of society.
“Aryaman” an young fighter will
assist Indra.
“Rudra”: head of siegh machinary an
expert in sabotage. Both physical and biological methods.
“Rbhus”: keeper of weapons.
